Basics of professional lighting
The Academy’s studio will again be perfectly lit from all sides in January/February 2008. The four-day workshop will be focussing on the basics of professional lighting: theoretical knowledge combined with practical exercises to show the wide range of options available with the skilful use of light.
The seminar will cover:
Creative lighting for reports, documentaries and films: - product photography and still life - portraits - interview situations - space and movement - day and night atmosphere - dramatic effects - special effects (shots in cars, etc.).
Trainer: Leo W. Borchard
Creative lighting is a key factor for this experienced cameraman. As well as working as a Director of Photography, he gladly passes on his know-how as a seminar trainer. His workshops are just as renowned for lively discussions as for solid, practical exercises.
Participants: Professionals and ambitious amateurs
