The next camera stabilizer systems workshop will be taking place at Wendelin Sachtler Academy's studio, November 16-19, 2010 - the workshop will be in German and in English. The big advantag of workshops at the Wendelin Sachtler Academy is that participants can train with their own, familiar equipment or borrow professional equipment free of charge.

  • Setup the system for SD, HD, 16mm & 33mm
  • Balancing the rig / final adjustments
  • Operating and moving techniques
  • Remote systems (lens control, video transmission)

Tutors: Curt O. Schaller

Theoretical training on camera balance, the basics of optics and practical or theoretical exercises make up the workshop curriculum. “Our workshops include such disciplines as direction, acting and choreography, so that our participants can develop real scenic motifs,” stressed Curt Schaller, one of the course instructors.
